Concession

The Concession

Our Foxwood community is adjacent to the highly acclaimed “The Concession” community, named in honor of that great sportsmanship moment when Jack Nicklaus, captain of the team from the USA, conceded the final putt of the 1967 Ryder Cup Match to Tony Jacklin, the captain of the British team. This ended the tournament in a harmonious tie.

The Concession’s neighborhoods of Birkdale and Lindrick are uniquely situated to ensure owners the ultimate in privacy and the best of the natural environment. Only 255 homesites are available, ranging from one-half to over one acre, with views of a water feature or woodland preserves. The Concession is further enhanced by the distinctive architecture of the exceptional homes.

Today, The Concession with its Nicklaus designed championship golf course and multi-million dollar homes blends harmoniously with our equestrian neighborhood.  Rated as the “Best New Private Course of 2006” by Golf Digest magazine, exclusive non-resident memberships are available for those who insist upon the best.
